Valentine's Day

I keep saying it- holiday's are so much better with kids! Marley had so much fun preparing for her big Valentine's Day party at school.

(These are the Valentine's we made. The left is the one Marley had for her friends at school and the other is for family and friends.)

When I asked her what she wanted to give her friends, she told me she wanted to make cookies. So that is what we did. We spent the entire morning making cookies for her classmates and teachers.
At the party Marley decorated a cookie in true kid fashion-with many, many sprinkles!

There was also dancing!

Irie slept most of the party but did wake up for the end. She was sure enjoying herself! ha ha

Marley's best friend, Daunte, gave her (and only her) a flower. What a perfect gentleman. She was so excited to tell her Daddy that Daunte gave her, "a beautiful flower!"

Marley had so much fun passing out the Valentine's we made for everyone. I remember my school Valentine's days and always loved receiving candy and cards from my friends. I am so glad that Marley was able to do that this year!
