New Year's Eve this year was without Carl but not without fun. This is the first year I let Marley (or shall I say the first year she allowed herself to stay awake that long) stay awake until midnight. Even Irie was up! We watched "Dick Clark New Year's Rockin Eve" while singing and dancing to all the performances. When midnight hit, we banged pots and pans, shot confetti, and drank sparkling apple cider.
Irie was trying so much to be like her sister and blow the "blowers." She couldn't understand why hers wasn't shooting out like Marley's!
We have created a new tradition and I love it. If you know me you know I LOVE traditions!
